The Perthshire Open Studios event offers you the unique opportunity to get to know your local artists and makers.
In the studios you will find a variety of artwork including paintings, sculptures, photographs, stained glass, woodwork, ceramics, jewelry, metalwork, and much more.
Visiting the studios will give you a chance to understand where artists inspiration comes from and to ask questions about their work. Most artists will have work in progress or will give demonstrations, often run workshops and you might even be tempted to have a go.... in all cases you will be able to purchase or commission pieces of original work directly from the artist.
The event will be held all over the Perth and Kinross area and runs for 9 days. Each studio will host one or more artists exhibiting their work. There are also a few larger groups and a small number of galleries taking part.
