Fine Art Photography Workshops
For individuals who are looking to work in creating Fine Art works with photography as its base medium. We spend 2 days in a photographic art studio using both natural and affordable studio lighting and look at how we can use our camera to create images.
This workshop will also appeal to artists that want to extend their experience into lens based creations. Whilst some photographic experience will be an advantage the workshops will cater for releative newcomers to photography.
Day 1 we concentrates on camera control and quickly move onto lighting various still life subjects using a range of techniques and seeing the effects of different light sources, lenses and filters.
Day 2 In the morning we continue with still life subjects and also use a Life Draw sitter for a session of figure work. We then spend the afternoon creating prints from our work from both days.
The workshop is fairly loosely structured to allow experimentation and for students to be lead by their ideas and inspirations and the aim is that you will leave with at least one fine art print.
Workshop size is 4 - 6 students.
