A few FAQ's

What Software is used for the tuition ?
We focus on Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop CS or Adobe Photoshop Elements as required. Please ask about other software programs.
We also look at various utilities for image file handling and monitor/printer calibration.

How much digital imaging work is involved in the workshops ?
The aim is to take an image file from a camera and create a print to professional standards. We do some simple digital correction to 'finish' the image. We do not become too involved in Digital manipulation, but the basics can be covered if required. Tuition is aimed at finishing an image rather tha creating digital artworks.

What is 'Workflow' and do we look at whatever it is ?
Workflow is the process that we use to take an image and create a final print, web file or archive, and yes, workflow is an integral part of the workshop.

I need advice on stuff like different printers, backing up and networking, can we cover this ?
Yes, the workshops uses these in practice so you will experience their benefits and look at how to set them up yourself - as long as this does not get in the way of the creative work.
