In need of Faith
No time to blog yet- up to my neck in council business already (did I tell you- Cllr Grouse now?) Had awful nightmares after my first Parish meeting last night- my ward is a cauldren of issues, lots of political stuff under the surface. Dreamt I stabbed someone and was expelled and sent to coventry.......could read all sorts into that. Faith- HELP!!!!!!!
Blossom- will blog some Brenda stories later in week for you, when I have waded through 16 pages from local planning and packed 30 cases of eggs for the bakers...........

It's nice to be wanted! I wouldn't fret about the dream it sounds like a typical worry dream to me. My dream book says 'to dream that you stab another with a knife ..... and you should strive to cultivate a higher sense of right' Well that fits in, doesnt it, and I'm sure you will do. Now lets see what the angels give you. It's 7.42 and 'Efficiency' came out. 'Wise use of energy, resources and time. It may not be the shortest route from point to point, but the most inclusive and effective'. That seems sensible too. Good luck wih it all.

Well - councillor Grouse - you are very brave to be local politics. At least on the national or provincial stage one can hide from the constituants. You, on the other hand, are right there and easy to find after every vote! Best of luck. My sister is a local councillor and I hear the best stories from her!

Yes, what a brave woman to take on this task, I will be thinking of you and I am sure Brenda would be very very proud, stand firm and don't stab anyone in the back, well not in the true sense anyway, not worth the long haul in clink.
Look frward to the stories.

Good for you - scary though! THat's the sort of dream I have when I'm anxious - well don't worry, no expulsions from this school (yet) anyway!

Ooh! Faith! Spot-on! Was having a discussion before I went to bed with the Husband (Oh! you know what I mean....)about having to tread carefully to do the right thing and learn to hone my judgement. I refused to stand several times because I work such long hours I was worried about time issues. So here I am reading this when I should be chasing up council papers and shooting off back to the packing shed. (11 cases down, 19 to go......but the order's just gone up by 2 boxes)

Hello fellow Cllr - yes I'm in that game as well - that's where I was last night as well as mopping up after floods! My job last night involved bins for dogs-hope they can read - and persuading the council that the village hall was not going to cough up the necessary £300 - well how many dogs attend village hall events anyway?! As for planning well -- dont worry if you can't understand it .... have never met anyone that can yet ..and that includes the Planning Officer - moveable goalposts on an ice rink comes to mind!
Dont worry about the dream - wait till the dog s**t bins keep you awake!!!

So you only got expelled and sent to coventry for stabbing someone - sounds like something fishy going on in your dream . . . .not nice though - but I suspect as you become an 'old hand' your dreams will be kinder to you.
