I have weeded.

....and I'll be blogging in a minute too, and on there you can check out the size of the bag of weeds I collected. You will notice only one glove, this is because I totally wrecked the other one. Fortunately I had two pairs ( I now have one and a half pairs! ) I did stand back at 6.00 p.m. and admire my weed free borders, and said "thank you" to Lesley, even though we never met, because she is directly responsible for my garden looking so good.

    Oh well done, I don't think we can boast quite such a booty of weeds as that, but it was big enough for us! The spare half a pair of gloves always comes in handy, too, I have found. I think Lesley would be proud of us all X

    I fear lack of purple gloves on my part may have let the side down. My garden still looks pathetic despite my attempts to transform it and blitz those weeds.
    But the sentiment was there and I have instead planted some 'cottage garden' plants earlier-delphiniums, daisies, poppies
    cornflowers etc, that a friend dug up for me from her garden earlier today...

    I have weeded today, and thought of Blossom's dear friend Lesley, have planted some blue delphiniums, only trouble, I got stung by a bee.
