Heres one of my favourite flowers at the moment, i call it knapweed.. i can't believe you where all being so mean about humphrey comphrey yesterday it's one of my favourites i've got 4 types, its a brilliant green manure, and the bees love it, and you can wrap it around your broken limbs, can't guarantee it'll work though..xx

isn't it lovely. i have loads of it, some quite pale, some blue, some almost purple. grow anywhere and doesn't mind being chopped quite hard.

I think we may have called it 'hard head' - or that may have been its wild variant. It's a good do-er. (And we all need some of that.)

I love the comfrey that has naturalised in what seems to be acres of space around the woodshed.

I have been a fan of comfrey for years, So many uses and chicken love it. Great for compost and for making liquid fertiliser.

I love your knapweed, I love all blue flowers.
    Thanks for the photo.

why call it a weed when it is so beautiful? I have some in my garden and it is great cos it seems to grow in any soil - including mine.
