Feeling Under the Weather
And goodness knows we are having a lot of weather at the moment. Poor old Matron had the flu and I cybernursed her over MSN . Couldn't visit - as I had to be well for last Friday's One Act Play festival - so we made the Janitor do all the work. Well the little flu bug must have wriggled through cyberspace and pounced at me from my screen - or I caught the bug at Matron's Birthday party. Either way I feel more than a little sorry for myself right now. I do indeed have Sjogrens Syndrome and Hashimoto's disease and now with the flu as well I have got joined up aching. Hah Flu and stuff I spit on you ptooooey - when I'm not sobbing down the MSN - another symptom of the bug - getting tearful. Berludy hell. So forgive me if I don't read too many blogs, or do one of my own for a few days. I can wander around the site in short bursts - then I need to sleep and feel sorry for myself again.
On the up side - our team came second in the East Kilbride One Act Play Festival - I will blog about this at some point. And over three weeks ago (got lost during the sudden and unexpected birth of Purplecoo) I passed my third assignment on my Stress Management course and was awarded my probationer's pass to practice!
And my cat is a dark chocolate brown - but looks black. Hahhahahaha . . . . boo hoooo booo hoooooo!

Big pots of tea and lots of sympathy. What a week you've had. I hope your recent triumpn on stage will buoy your spirits enough to drive out the nasty bug!

Goodness, what a bunch of bugs have been trying to get us all. Nearly summer, and then they'll all go away. Hope you get better really soon, if you cry, we'll all cry with you.

Ghastly bugs got me too last week, usually they don't dare come near me. Poor First Husband got both barrels when I threw an uncharacteristic wobbler; weeping, overwhelmed, aching, miserable, all his fault etc etc.
Just an outbreak of Mad Purple Cow Disease he said sagely.
Hope you feel better soon

First well done with the play. Wow. How we have talent in are midst!
Second, do get well soon. My standard remedy is malt whisky and aspirin (I can only really enjoy whisky when I'm ill for some reason) but it doesn't work for everyone - oh and massive quantities of Vitamin C.
You'll be better soon - unless of course it's Ebola - you never know, there's a lot of it about.
