Confessions of a serial mower - a Royal Connection



Well, I thought I ought to put my money where my mouth is and have spent a happy hour searching drawers for said photo of us with HRH Princess Royal. I have however found this one, taken a few years ago, when she opened one of GOH's sports halls somewhere near here. I am the one on the extreme right and he is next to me, before he went grey and before I aged somewhat!

    Oh I say, how luvverly! I like the man in drag betwixt GOH and HRH. I hope it's not your mother in law! PA is rather lovely. My friend's husband received an award of some sort from her and he said she was truly beautiful (not like a horse at all) and very down to earth.

    OK, I'm impressed. All those hours on the Foundation trying to figure out how to get Prince Charles to play polo in Dulverton for a fund-raising bash....and all I needed to do was ask you lot for some royal clout?!

    Can I just say, as I'm just catching up with this, Thursday being my manic day, I've met PA or TPR too at The Great Yorkshire, no photos, I was 7 months pregnant and looked hideous

    oh and I might as well put this here as add it to the 63 comments on the original question, also Jilly Cooper, Janet Street-Porter, it's not something I've thought about for a while, my brain, seems to forget these things, quite a few famous sports people, but they are only famous if you are into that sport
